Biography

Alison joined Kirbys in 1999 and is Head of the Family Law Team. Alison is one of the four Directors and also one of the longest standing members of the Management / Executive Team.

Alison has more than 20 years of invaluable experience practicing exclusively in Family Law in Harrogate. Family Law issues can often be an extremely emotive experience for clients and can involve complex negotiations over finances and difficult decision making over the living arrangements and upbringing of children.

Alison is adept, calm and known for her incisive analysis, whether matters have to progress through the court system, or using a collaborative approach to facilitate a settlement.

Alison is committed to delivering sound, sensible advice and achieving a fair outcome for her clients.

Outside of work Alison enjoys being active and is a keen horse rider and spin class member.
