Biography
Amanda joined Kirbys in 2013 with extensive experience of developing private client teams, six years at partnership level, and over two decades in the legal profession. She became Head of Private Client in 2017 and a director in 2018. She supports and advises families on matters relating to wills, lasting powers of attorney, lifetime and pilot trusts through to finance, property and health and welfare.
For Amanda, developing long-term relationships with individual families ensures she provides the best legal advice to suit personal circumstances. Her clients trust her to guide them towards the most suitable decisions in stressful times and periods of change. She also specialises in advising the elderly and is a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
Away from the office, Amanda enjoys reading and spending time in her garden. She also likes to complement her work at Kirbys in her free time with a commitment to supporting charities in the local Harrogate area.
