Biography

Wendy joined Kirbys in 2022 as a senior solicitor having worked previously in senior roles at national and regional law firms.  She qualified as a solicitor in 2004 and since then has worked exclusively in the private client sector.

Wendy is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and specialises in Wills, Probate and Court of Protection matters including Deputyship Applications and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Wendy is committed to assisting her clients through difficult periods with a warm and caring approach. In 2021 she was listed in the Legal 500 as a solicitor to note with her testimonial describing her as being ‘brilliant with clients. Really down to earth. Explains difficult concepts in no nonsense language. Bucketloads of experience’

Wendy has been invited onto BBC Radio several times to discuss key cases and changes to the law and has worked with leading charities.

Outside of work, Wendy volunteers for The Scout Association and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, enjoys supporting her sons with their latest hobbies and loves curling up on the sofa with a good book.
